DesignFlavr

The internet is a treasure trove of inspiration for any artist. With millions of websites out there covering nearly every topic under the sun, your chances of finding whatever you're looking for are pretty good. Often times though, when it's design inspiration that I'm looking for, I look past the traditional sources and wander onto pages that have nothing to do with my original search. The artistry and creativity of some pages can be enough to spark an idea and give you a jumping off point.



Take these three pages for example. It doesn't take much imagination to see how their composition could inspire other ideas, in terms of layout. These three examples were found through a favorite site of mine that features exemplary design -- designflavr.com. Their CSS Websites category has the most sites that I have found lending themselves to basic layout inspiration. But there's a ton of other jewels on the site that could spark other ideas, whether it's color inspiration, typography, style or anything else. Here's another beautiful find from the site:
